Most of Hadrian’s Wall is closed for walkers but it is possible to walk along a short stretch of Hadrian's Wall close to Housesteads Fort. It is possible to walk the length of Hadrian’s Wall using the Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail. Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail is an unbroken 84 mile signposted trail stretching from coast to coast, from Wallsend in the east to Bowness-on-solway in the west. Hadrian's Wall Path National Trail passes through some of the most beautiful parts of England.
